If you’re following the latest news in the tech world then you must be aware that Windows 10 technical preview has been released and anyone can download it and test it as a beta tester. Windows 10 is the successor of the troubled and highly debated Windows 8/8.1 (yes, there’s no Windows 9 just Windows 10), the new operating system comes with loads and loads of features and functionality that really enhances the experience of any user.
This post will present three quick tips about Windows 10 technical preview, these are handy tips that would really increase and enhance the experience of you as a user, but before we start you have to be using the latest build of Windows 10 technical preview which is build 9860 at the time of writing this post.
First Tip
First tip we’re going to cover is the home tab; when you open your computer main navigation window (This PC/My Computer), you shall find a new tab “Home” in the left hand side menu as seen in the screenshot below.

The Home window is divided into two sections; “Frequency Folder” and “Recent Files”. The frequency folder you’ll have access to folders and applications you use most which is very handy as you don’t have to navigate to the application/folder you use most.
The second section “Recent Files” gives you access to the files and applications you’ve opened most recently which is a very handy shortcut.
Second Tip
The second tip we’re going to cover in this post is the start menu resizing, yes in Windows 10 there start menu has returned, not only that you can resize and customize it to your liking in a very easy and convenient manner.

As seen in the above screenshot, to change the size of the start menu just hover to the edge of the start menu and drag it up and down to your best convenience as seen below.

Third Tip
The third and final tip we’re going to cover in this post is that you can pin the recycle bin to the start menu, yes many of Windows users have long requested this option and it’s finally here, to make use of it; just right click on the recycle bin icon and select pin to start menu and you shall find it there.
