With the release of Adobe Photoshop CS6, we have seen the change in the crop tool that has frustrated quite a number of people, myself included. In this tutorial we will show you how you can revert to the crop tool that we all know so well in CS5.
In Adobe Photoshop CS6, instead of moving the crop box, you are forced to move the image instead. On our lesser machines, the lags while moving the images were annoying and this affected productivity.
Below are the directions how you can revert the Adobe Photoshop CS6 crop tool to the CS5 crop tool style.
Step 1: Select the Crop Tool from the menu
Step 2: Select the gear looking options icon on your top menu then click on Use Classic Mode from the menu that appears.
And that\’s how you revert the Photoshop CS6 crop tool back to the CS5 crop tool. Happy cropping!
