This tutorial will show you how to set Google Chrome as your default browser on your iPhone, iPad and iPod. To set it as the default browser you will require a jailbroken phone.

Why would you want to set Chrome as your default browser?
The answer is pretty straightforward; without setting Chrome as default browser, all clickable web links will be opened in Safari. So let\’s get on with setting Chrome as your default browser on your iDevice.
What you will need
- Jailbroken device (learn how to jailbreak your iDevice)
- Google Chrome for your device – Download from iTunes here.
Once you have downloaded Google Chrome. Open up Cydia and download the tweak by Ryan Petrich.
Step 1: Open Cydia.
Step 2: Add Ryan Petrich\’s repo rpetri.ch/repo from Manage > Source > Edit > Add.
Step 3: Search for BrowserChoose.
Step 4: Respring springboard.

That\’s it. Google Chrome should now be your default browser. When starting Google Chrome for the first time there is a short tutorial and you can set up your Google Account and start syncing.
