First: Accessing Notification Center
You can access the notification center from the bottom right hand side of the taskbar as seen from the following screenshot.
Second: Tablet Mode
When you click/tab on the tablet mode it converts Windows 10 to a touch first operating system, this option is very useful for convertibles/hybrids, you click on it when you detach your tablet from its keyboard and everything becomes optimized and customized for touch screens, we’re not only talking about Windows itself but the applications also, so for example MS Word will transform to the touch version and that holds true for any other application.
When you click on the display tab you’ll be directed to a new window where you can control the brightness, screen resolution and finally the orientation. This can be seen in the screenshot below.
When you click on that tab it will give you access to options to control your device access to other devices.
Fifth: All Settings
When you click on the “All settings” tab and you’ll be directed to the settings page, the settings page is the new Control Panel where you can access nearly every option concerning your computer; privacy, Accounts, Update and Recovery, Time and Language, Ease of Access, Personalize, Devices, System and Network and Internet. The settings page is covered in depth in another post.
Sixth: Airplane Mode
When you click on the Airplane mode tab that will activate the Airplane mode which basically disconnects you from the cellular network.
When you click on the location tab you’ll be directed to a new window where you can; toggle location on/off, clear location history, geofencing and more importantly control which applications have access to your location.
When you click on the VPN tab you’ll be directed to a new window where you can new VPN network or have access to your already existing VPN settings.
