It was just months ago in January 2015 that we were talking about the Fifth Generation release from Intel codenamed Broadwell processors for desktops, laptops, tablets and hybrids. The processor offered modest performance boosts and increased cell life. However, the next version of the Microprocessor was already waiting in the wings to be released soon, as there was considerable delay in release of Broadwell chip.

Professor Stephen Hawking, one of the widely known and respected physicists of our time has been in the news for some time for the way he articulates his thought provoking speeches. While Professor Hawking, 73 is one of the smartest that our planet has to offer, he suffers from a debilitating disease, a Motor Neuron Disease by name Leu Gehrig’s Disease which has virtually paralyzed him, kept him confined to a wheelchair and also impaired his speech.

“Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand” – these are great words of wisdom from Confucius. While I was trying to learn Internet of Things, I felt initially that Internet of Things (IoT) as a concept is difficult to understand, unless you really use and perceive it. It is the buzzword though, and is expected to be the “in” thing in the near future. For instance, take the definition of Internet of Things “The Internet of Things (IoT) is a scenario in which objects, animals or people are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.” Isn’t it intriguing or confusing?

“All children have the right to justice”, “enough”, or “acknowledge CSA” – these were some of the words of protests as Pakistani rights activities staged a protest against CSA (Child Sex Abuse) on 10-Aug-15. A few days back, the Indian Government banned 857 adult sites, and after a public outcry against the rights for freedom of expression granted by the Indian Constitution, the Indian Government was forced to revert the same, but applying the ban to only those sites promoting child pornography.

The relation of Botters, Gold Farmers, hackers and criminal activity needs clarification. Spotify Apologizes After Privacy Changes Causes Outcry

A Swedish Company, Spotify, known globally for its music streaming, video streaming and podcasts is in the news again. Recently, the company embarked on an adventurous idea and unexpectedly changed its user terms and conditions. The company forced its customers to agree to its new terms and policies causing a backlash from its customer base, which consists of 75 million global users, 20 million of those being premium users. The modified policy immediately became viral among the customers, who considered this as a breach of their private information.
