How to Synchronize Safari across All of Your Devices

We live in a world where every person has more than one computer, and if you are wondering, how? Well the simple and straight forward answer will be is that your tablet is a computer and also your smart phone is a computer, since they all have processors, RAM, Rom etc. so they’re technically computers that you can do a lot with.

All of these computers are connected to the internet nowadays, and it’d be great if one can harness that power to do more for less. You can achieve that by synchronizing all of your browsing data across all of your devices. First, what is your browsing data? Browsing data includes the following; settings, autofill, history, themes, bookmarks, passwords and open tabs. That comes in handy when you’re shopping online or filling an application for a job for example so you can do more for less literally.

In this step by step tutorial you’ll be shown how to synchronize your Safari browsing data across all of your devices.

Step 1: First, you should know that to synchronize your Safari browsing data across all of your devices, you should enable iCloud on all of them, so n a Mac you’ll have to be sure that your machine is running OS X 10.7.4 or a later version.

Step 2: Go to the system preferences, and click on the iCloud icon in the “internet and wireless” category and sign in with your iCloud account.

Step 3: After logging into your iCloud account, and inside the iCloud settings window, check the box inside the Safari tab shown in the following photo.

Step 4: After that you’ll have to activate the iCloud on your iPhone and that is done by opening your settings menu and tabbing on the iCloud tab.

Step 5: You’ll then be directed to the iCloud menu, choose Safari from it by dragging the slider beside it to activate it as shown in the following photo.

Step 6: Repeat the previous two steps (4-5) for your iPad.

Step 7: The next time you open your Safari browser on your iPhone go to bookmarks then tab on the iCloud tabs option. If you’re using iPad you’d find the cloud option directly in your Safari browser without going to the bookmarks.

Now you can enjoy the power of the cloud and connected devices, and literally do more for less.
