On September 17, 2014, Apple Inc. released iOS 8 as the successor to the current iOS operating system, iOS 7. According to the company, iOS 8 will be the biggest change to iOS since the introduction of App Store. What makes iOS 8 the biggest change? Basically, it is a major redesign of iOS 7 with improvements in the interface system. However, Apple phone users weren’t pleased with iOS 8 due to its massive file size ( 5.7 GB). It was certainly too big for users who had limited free space in the Apple devices.
