Tweaks after Jailbreak

Tweaks after Jailbreak

If you have a jailbroken device, one of the most pressing question you may face is”What things should I get for my iPhone?”, and the answer really does vary on who you ask. In this article, however, I’ll be going over some of my favourite tweaks and add-ons for jailbroken devices. All of these tweaks work well on iOS 8.1.3.

ColorFlow

This is a really cool tweak that modifies your lock screen and your music app to reflect the artwork of whatever song you’re listening to. This is a minor tweak, but one of the coolest ones I’ve downloaded. The album artwork is already a great visual representation of whatever album you’re jamming out to, and this subtle touch allows the artist to completely take over your device for the length of the song by adding this quaint and subtle touch to your music player.

Aria

Second, and also adding onto the music app is a tweak called Aria. Aria allows you to do something you will soon love and wonder how you went so long without something like this. Simply put, Aria allows you to queue up songs on your device without creating a new playlist. Because of this, if you know you want to listen to a song by Kendrick Lamar and then switch over to Mansard Roof which has been stuck in your head all day, you can, without gong through the tedious process of creating a playlist that you’ll likely only use once.

StatusBar HUD

The next add-on I would love to talk about is another minor tweak that you are sure to soon love. StatusBar HUD takes the volume pop-up and places it in the status bar, so as to not disrupt or block anything you’re watching or doing on your device. Incredibly useful.

EqualizerEverywhere

Next on the list is a tweak that music lovers will absolutely love called EqualizerEverywhere. What this allows users to do is edit and modify custom EQ settings for audio playback. If you know exactly how you like your music EQ to be set to, this is a mustdownload. The table is conveniently stored in the control center, and will also allow you to toggle the Pre-amp.

Auxo

Last on this list is my favorite tweak, called Auxo. Auto takes over almost complete control of the Control Center, and adds features such as toggles to quickly kill all running apps, a redesigned and simpler control center, along with easy ways and methods to exit out of apps and hot corners features. I could rant all day about Auxo, but I would definitely recommend installing this one to see it for yourself.

Stay tuned to Setuix, as I will likely be releasing more and more lists of cool jailbreak tweaks I stumble across. Next time the list won’t be so music-based, and more of just cool tweaks and potentially applications. Feel free to comment or contact me on Twitter @dvdltmr.
